A Canadian and British artist, Catherine creates vibrant, expressive paintings that radiate joy, vitality, and emotional depth. Working primarily in acrylic, her art celebrates beauty, optimism, and flourishing, while also exploring resilience, emotional complexity, and the human experience.
A lifelong creative, Catherine draws inspiration from painting, design, music, movement, and the natural world. Her bold use of colour and intuitive mark-making invite viewers to pause, feel, and reconnect with moments of light, energy, and possibility.
Alongside her artistic practice, Catherine is an accomplished business and communications executive with expertise in strategic communications, reputation and crisis management, workplace psychological health and safety, trauma-informed practice, and negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution. With additional education in psychology, employee relations, safety, and compliance, she brings a rare blend of creativity, psychological insight, and professional expertise, offering a distinctive perspective that informs both her artistic and therapeutic practice.
Catherine is also a certified art therapy practitioner with additional training in healing arts and trauma-informed practice. Through workshops and therapeutic arts programming, she creates supportive, inclusive spaces where creativity can foster self-expression, confidence, connection, and growth.
Inspired by Canada’s landscapes and time spent in cottage country with family and her two rescued golden retrievers, Catherine is committed to sustainability and social impact. She supports causes related to women’s rights, youth mental health, animal welfare, food insecurity, and human rights, and volunteers with organizations including Victim Services Toronto and Golden Rescue.
