My Work with Victims and Survivors
I support victims and survivors in shaping and expressing their lived experiences through visual art, writing, legacy projects, and guided narrative process. This work is about truth-telling. Whether the goal is personal healing, connection with loved ones, helping others through shared experience, or preparing to speak to legal counsel, I help survivors give form to what they’ve lived—on their terms.
Together, we work carefully and at your pace to shape your experience into a form that is clear, truthful, and rooted in your voice and agency. This may include preparing your story to be shared with family, contributing to broader collective healing, supporting legal processes by helping your counsel understand and advocate for you more fully, or creating a legacy project—an intentional, meaningful piece that preserves your story, asserts your truth, and creates space for others to find strength, solidarity, and justice.
The BR Project
This survivor-centred approach is embodied in The BR Project—Bearing Witness. Reclaiming Truth. The BR Project supports victims in shaping and sharing their lived experiences through art, narrative, and legacy work. It honors the core principles of bearing witness to harm and injustice, and reclaiming truth in ways that support healing, connection, advocacy, and accountability. The BR Project helps survivors shape their stories for themselves, their families, their communities, legal counsel, and those who need to hear the truth—now or in the future. It is a quiet force, a creative process, and a bold reclaiming that empowers survivors to speak not only to what happened, but to who they are—and what they choose to carry forward.
